As many of you have probably read, we’ll be going to Games Convention in Leipzig this year and will have a great show on offer, but we want it to be even better. If you think you can write the kind of dialogue that deserves to be spoken by the Elyos or Asmodians, well - have we got a competition for you.
The last date of winner notification was unfortunately wrong in the initial posting. We need some time to read through all the entries, and the winners will be notified through email some time before the 11th of August (previously the same date was mentioned as entry deadline)
The good thing about a convention is that its activities are not always limited to the few days it actually takes place. Let me introduce you to a competition that we are starting right now where you will be able to win great prizes sponsored by Razer. Let me introduce you to a competition we’re calling ‘Set the Stage’.
Put simply, we want you to write a short script featuring two characters from Aion who will be present, live and in the flesh, to act our your dialogue in front of the hordes of Games Convention attendees. This means, you can even take part and win the prizes without attending the Games Convention at all.
We will be giving away prizes to one lucky winner and two runner-ups. All three will also get a special prize which is to be announced at a later point. A general rule of thumb would be to keep your dialogue plausible and believable (No Balaur invasion of Guild War’s Ascalon, for an example). Other than that, you are the one who decides the setting, the characters’ moods and everything that has lead up to where they are at the time of your script.
The names of the two Aion characters, who are both female, are Alma (Asmodian) and Celene (Elyos). For some inspiration and more information on what they could potentially behave like, hit up the official Aion website’s lore section.
Once you’re fairly happy with what you have written, open up your favourite mail program and send it off to with the subject line ‘Set the Stage - Aion’. I’m afraid we need it by 4th of August latest, folks, so get typing already!
There is a restriction of one entry per person per contest. Send your entry to with the subject line ‘Set the Stage’. Please include the following information in the body of the email:
